Ideate Tech Policy Africa is an organization that aims to inform and influence tech policy processes, engage in multidisciplinary research, litigate on tech law and advise on a diverse range of tech policy issues in Africa. ITPA is focused on emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and its intersection with human rights and society. Additional emphasis is placed on issues around human rights and elections in the digital age, data governance, data justice, and the digital economy.

How we do It
At ITPA, we believe in the power of knowledge sharing, collaboration, and community building. As such, we host regular trainings, webinars, workshops, and informal gatherings to bring together diverse voices and perspectives. Our events provide opportunities to share ideas and learn from one another, while also showcasing the initiatives and projects that contribute to our mission of creating a safe, equitable, and inclusive digital environment for Africa.
